


Antroewa



Antroewa is also known as white aubergine. It is a shiny berry about the size of an average tomato. Usually the picked fruit still has the stalk and sepals attached. The fruit is round and unripe greenish-white. The fruit has a thick skin and a green core. The fruit is eaten unripe.

Storage
You can store a whole antroewa in the fridge for about a week.
Open-cut antroewa turns brown quickly when exposed to air. So prepare antroewa immediately or store it in some water with milk.

When preparing, some sugar and vinegar are often added to neutralise the slightly bitter taste.
