The National Fruit and Vegetable Day (NGF Day), will be celebrated on 9 October this year. The day, which is organised by GroentenFruit Huis, aims to put fruits and vegetables in a special spotlight on this day.

Boost your morning
A good breakfast is the perfect start to your day. Add some fruit to your yoghurt or oatmeal and you'll get an instant dose of vitamins. Prefer something drinkable? Mix berries, banana or strawberries into a smoothie and you will start your day full of energy.
Have a healthy snack in between
Between lunch and dinner you often get hungry. The perfect time for a healthy snack! Choose, for example, cucumber with hummus or apple segments with sultanas. Your afternoon dip will disappear in no time.

Spice up vegetables with herbs or a fresh sauce. Broccoli with cheese sauce, cauliflower with paprika or a creamy vegetable soup, there are so many possibilities.
