Garden cress

Garden cress is also called star cress or bittercress. The taste of garden cress is spicy-aromatic. The flavour is most similar to mustard. Garden cress is used raw in salads. Or as a garnish on sandwiches and cold starters. The plant loses its flavour when dried. Garden cress can therefore only be eaten fresh. It is best to store garden cress in the refrigerator.
