Kaffir lime preparation
These limes are widely used in Thai and Indonesian cuisine. Especially the leaves of the kaffir lime are used as medicine and flavouring in dishes. A kaffir lime contains many substances that detoxify the blood and improves overall oral health.
Kaffir lime storage
Kaffir limes keep at room temperature for about a week, but you can extend this shelf life. Alternatively, you can store the limes in the fridge. However, you cannot keep them in the fridge for too long, as they may dry out and lose their flavour. Another option is to freeze the kaffir limes.
