Majii Leaves® is the Koppert Cress brand name for an edible leaf. Majii Leaves® are the drop-shaped leaves of a special succulent native to Africa. The leaves serve as water storage for drier periods. Hence the name Majii, 'water' in Swahilii. Combine Majii Leaves® with white grape, or with acidic ingredients such as rhubarb. Majii Leaves® looks for a sweet counterpart for the best flavour transfer.

Store Majii Leaves for up to 9 days in the refrigerator at a temperature of 2-7ºC.
Prepare
Chefs can go all out with these edible leaves. The Majii has a natural tendency to store water. So that way you can transfer many different flavours to the leaf. Majii Leaves ® look best with a sweet counterpart, such as grapes. But these leaves also combine well with sour ingredients, such as rhubarb.
