Shiso Leaves Purple has the flavour of cumin. The leaf has a strong, spicy flavour. This decorative red leaf used to be imported from Asia. Due to the large amount of pesticides needed for cultivation, the product was no longer imported to Europe. This leaf is now grown in the Netherlands and controlled by insects.
