Broad beans à la Romana

280gr vegetables p.p.
Ingredients
2 persons
1 shallot |
6 sage leaves or ½ teaspoon dried sage |
1 tablespoon liquid margarine |
1 tablespoon tomato puree |
1-1½ kg broad beans |
Preparation
1. Shell the broad beans.
2. Clean and chop the shallot small.
3. Cut the sage into strips.
4. Fry the shallot, sage and tomato puree gently in the margarine.
5. Add the broad beans with some water and cook for 7-12 minutes until tender.
Menu suggestion: Delicious with a ham steak and potatoes.
