


Akurataki



The Akurataki is a large light-coloured mushroom. In terms of shape, this mushroom has many characteristics of the grey oyster mushroom. The akurataki is succulent and has a peppery flavour.

Storage
Ideally, use akurataki as fresh as possible. Store akurataki in the refrigerator at a temperature of between 4° and 7°C. They will then keep for 2 to 3 days.

After cleaning, cut a piece from the bottom of the stalk, then slice or quarter.
Fry briefly before use, together with other vegetables. Also delicious in combination with meat dishes.

Stir-frying: 2-4 minutes
Microwave oven: 2-3 minutes
Deep-frying: 2-4 minutes
Grilling: 2-4 minutes
Braising: approx. 10 minutes
Steaming: approx. 6 minutes
Cleaning Akurataki
Clean dry with a kitchen paper or mushroom brush. Do not wash, or they will fill up with water, losing flavour.
