The Armenian cucumber is a variety of sugar melon. It has the shape and taste of an ordinary cucumber. When very ripe, it tastes and smells like melon. This cucumber is mainly eaten raw, but is also cooked to make soup.

Storage
You can store the Armenian cucumber in a cool place for up to 2 weeks.
Do not store the cucumber in the fridge or freezer, they will become snotty.
Wrapping the cucumber in foil prevents dehydration.

Cooking: approx. 10 minutes
Stir-frying: 3 - 4 minutes
Microwave oven: 4 - 5 minutes
Braising: approx. 15 minutes
Steaming: 15 - 20 minutes
Cleaning the Armenian cucumber
Wash the Armenian cucumber and cut a piece from the top and bottom. No need to peel it.
