Decorative leaves, coloured silver on the inside. Citra Leaves® have a firm sour citrus flavour. Reminiscent of the Granny Smith apple, for example. Citra Leaves® originate from Chile. In Chile the Leaves were also used as a vinegar substitute. Because of the sour taste, people found it particularly refreshing to chew.
