Cucumberweed is also called borage. It is an annual plant that can grow up to 90 cm tall. The fragrance is fresh, cucumber-like. Both the blue flowers and the leaves are edible. The young leaves are the tastiest. The herb is poorly dried and is therefore only used fresh. It is best to keep picked cucumber herb in the fridge.

Picked leaves and flowers will keep for several days in the fridge in a sealed bag or container.
