Dragon

One of the most popular herbs in French cuisine is tarragon. This herb has elongated leaves. The herb tastes slightly like aniseed. Be a bit cautious when using it, as the flavour quickly becomes stronger. The same goes for dried tarragon.
Preparation & storage
Storage
Put fresh tarragon in a glass of water or store it in cling film in the fridge. The herb will keep for a few days this way.
You can also freeze tarragon. Cut the herb finely and freeze it loose on a plate or plate. Put the frozen tarragon in bags or trays. Frozen tarragon will keep for several months.
Keep dried tarragon dry in sealed jars. It will keep for several years.
Preparing
Use only the leaves. Add tarragon only at the end of the preparation.
