Fennel herb is widely used in Greek cuisine. Fennel herb are the 'leaves' of the fennel tuber. You will also sometimes find fennel herb when you buy a fennel tuber. Fennel herb has a mild, fresh, aniseed-like flavour. Besides use in cooking, it can also be used as a mouth freshener. Chewing on fennel herb gives you a fresh taste in your mouth!

Storage
Fennel herb can be kept in cling film or a tightly sealed container or bag in the fridge. This will keep it fresh for 2-3 days.
You can also store fennel spice in the freezer. Keep it in a well-sealed bag or container. This way, you can keep the herb good for 12 months at a minimum of -18°C.
