


Japanese Bundle mushroom (Nameko)



The Japanese bundle mushroom is sweet, nutty in flavour and very crunchy. The cap sticks a little, but this disappears when cooked. The mushroom gets its name from its growth form: in a bundle. The Bundle mushroom clearly prefers beech wood.

Storage
Store Japanese bundle mushroom in the refrigerator at a temperature between 4° and 7°C. Preferably use Japanese cordial mushroom immediately after purchase, as it does not keep for long.
