

Rochet melon


The rochet melon is related to the honey melon. The rochet melon is green on the outside and has a somewhat marbled, net-like appearance. The flesh is light orange. A ripe rochet is very sweet in flavour. The rochet is also called Christmas melon. This is due to the time of year when this melon is available.

Preparation & storage
Wash the melon before use. Halve the melon and cut slices.
Remove the seeds and skin. If necessary, cut the slices into pieces. You can also use a special melon spoon to cut out small balls.
