Sea kale

Sea kale is a salt-loving edible wild plant. Sea kale is found along the coastline in Europe. Sea kale is also grown on Texel. The cabbage leaves are bitter and inedible. However, the stems or stalks of the plant can be eaten. The stems have a slight cabbage flavour. You also taste something of asparagus.
