Sea lavender belongs to the sea vegetables. Sea lavender needs salt water to stay alive. It therefore grows on salty soil, for example in coastal areas. Sea lavender is a long green leaf shaped like a sea lavender. They taste salty and therefore go very well with fish dishes. Sea lavender is also called sea aster or zulte. They are best kept in the fridge.
