White mint

White mint is an herb whose petals smell similar to mint, but also to apple. The plant is rare in the Netherlands. The plant is on the list of protected rare plants. Picking it is prohibited. But the little plant can also be grown well. The leaves and stems are hairy and the flowers are white to light purple. White mint sprigs are best kept in the fridge.

Storage
A plant will do well in the windowsill, on the balcony or in the garden. Water the plant every other day.
You can keep mint sprigs in a damp kitchen towel in the fridge for a few days.
