Asparagus with almond crumbs

300gr vegetables p.p.
Ingredients
2 persons
handful of peeled almonds |
1 slice of brown bread |
600g asparagus |
1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar |
1 tablespoon liquid margarine |
Preparation
1. Peel the asparagus and cut off the hard bottom.
2. Boil the asparagus in plenty of water for 8-10 minutes and let them cook in the cooling cooking liquid.
3. Toast the slice of bread and crumble it.
4. Chop the almonds.
5. Heat the margarine and fry the breadcrumbs and almond crumbs in it until golden brown.
6. Season this mixture with pepper and a little balsamic vinegar.
7. Drain the asparagus, place them on a dish and sprinkle with the crumbs.
Menu suggestion Delicious with boiled eggs and mashed potatoes.
