Braised fennel

410gr vegetables p.p.
Ingredients
2 persons
1 red onion |
2 fennel tubers |
1 tablespoon oil |
1 tablespoon grated cheese 30+ matured |
Preparation
1. Clean the fennel tubers and onion.
2. Slice the fennel lengthwise and the onion into half rings.
3. Fry the onion in the oil until translucent.
4. Add the fennel with some pepper and water.
5. Stew the vegetables for about 10 minutes until tender.
6. Sprinkle with the cheese.
Menu suggestion: Delicious with a ham steak and potatoes.
