

Kiwi berry


The kiwi berry (or mini kiwi, baby kiwi or Siberian gooseberry) is related to the common kiwi, with the difference that they are the size of a grape. The smooth skin is edible, as with the regular kiwi. Furthermore, they are much sweeter than an ordinary kiwi and just as rich in vitamins and minerals.

The kiwi berry needs to be ripened before it is edible, this is best done at room temperature.
The kiwi berry is edible when they are slightly darker coloured and softer to the touch.
The ripe kiwi grape is best stored at a temperature of 0 to 4°C.

Wash the kiwi grape before use. Eat the kiwi grape whole as a snack. Or use it in a dessert or as a snack on a cocktail stick.
