


White dragon fruit (pitaja)



Dragon fruit is also called pitaja or dragon fruit. It is actually a cactus fruit. Dragon fruit does not have spines, but a scaly skin. Hence the name dragon fruit. The aromatic flesh of the white sweet dragon fruit is full of edible little black seeds and is reminiscent of kiwi. You can increasingly buy dragon fruit in supermarkets. It is best to store dragon fruit in the fridge.

You can keep ripe dragon fruit in the fridge for a few days.
Put some unripe fruit on the fruit bowl to ripen further.

Cut the fruit in half and scoop out the flesh.
