Longans

Longan is also known as Lamyai. Longan contains a round, shiny black kernel with white spot on the underside. Longan means 'dragon eyes' in Chinese referring to the seed. The thin reddish-brown skin is less rigid than that of the lychee. The flesh is whitish and sweet. The flavour is somewhat similar to that of mango.
