Lupin Cress

The Lupine Cress belongs to the cresses. That means it is freshly sprouted plantlets that fall under vegetables. Like other cresses, the Lupine Cress is sold as young plants that are still in the nutrient medium and need to be cut off yourself. The Lupine Cress has a firm bite and can be added to both cold and hot dishes.

Storage
Store Lupin Cress in the refrigerator for up to 7 days at a temperature of 2-7ºC.
Prepare
You buy Lupine Cress in a container in which the cress has been sown and germinated. You still have to cut them yourself. Like other types of cress, Lupine Cress is mainly used raw in salads and as a garnish for sandwiches and cold starters. The cress loses its flavour when dried and can therefore only be eaten fresh.
