Preparation & storage
Storage
Store the orangelo outside the fridge, but in a cool place or on the fruit shelf. After picking, this fruit does not ripen. You can store them for up to 2 weeks.
Once you have cut the fruit, cover it with cling film and store the cut fruit in the fridge.
Preparation
The membranes of the orangelo are firm and less tasty to eat. Cut an orangelo in half and eat the flesh with a spoon.
Don't mind the skin? Then you can also slice this fruit and eat it like an orange.
Storage times
Fruit bowl: 2 weeks
Refrigerator (leftover orangelo): 3-5 days
