Tinkerbell® is a snack pepper. This snack pepper is a mini version of the square block pepper. Thanks to its sweet flavour, the snack pepper is becoming increasingly popular. Delicious as a snack or in between meals! But also suitable for filling. A nice eye-catcher with drinks or dinner.

Preparation & storage

    Storage
Snack peppers are best stored in a cool place (approx. 12-15 °C). Preferably in the original packaging. Packaged snack peppers stay fresh for longer.

Do not store fruity vegetables, such as snack peppers, in the refrigerator, as fruity vegetables want to ripen a little longer. A too cold temperature disturbs this process.

If stored properly, snack peppers will keep for up to a week.

Snack peppers can also be kept in the freezer. Just before freezing, blanch for 2 minutes (heat briefly). At a minimum of -18 °C, peppers will keep for up to 12 months in a tightly sealed container or bag.
Movie: In this video, Winston Post shows you the best way to freeze sweet peppers.

How do I know if a snack pepper is no longer good? The sweet pepper is going mouldy or has rotten spots You can recognise this decay by looking, smelling or tasting.

    Preparing
Wash the snack peppers before use. When filling the snack peppers: cut the caps of the peppers and remove the seeds if necessary.
