Preparation & storage

    Storage
Store vine cocktail tomatoes between 15 and 18 °C. At this temperature, the vine cocktail tomato does not let go of the vine prematurely. The vine cocktail tomato will keep for a week.

Do not store vine cocktail tomatoes in the fridge! This does not benefit the flavour and aroma.

You can store vine cocktail tomatoes that have been blanched for about 1 minute in a tightly sealed plastic container in the freezer for up to 12 months, at a minimum of -18 °C. But fresh they are best!

How do I know if a truss cocktail tomato is no longer good? The tomatoes are mouldy, have a sour smell or are limp. You can quickly recognise this decay by looking, smelling or tasting.

    Prepare
You can eat the vine cocktail tomato on the spot, in slices on a sandwich or in a salad. It's up to you!

For a hot dish with diced tomatoes, you can halve the vine cocktail tomato or cut it into segments or slices. If necessary, remove the seeds and juice. Tip: You can make tomato water from the juice and seeds, wonderfully refreshing!
