Snack tomatoes are vegetables for the sweet tooth. They are snack vegetables: fresh, healthy and above all delicious. They are also called cherry tomatoes. Children love them; even difficult vegetable eaters are tempted. They are fresh and sweet. And always ready to eat.

    Storage
    Store snack tomatoes in a cool place.

    Do not store snack tomatoes in the fridge, as this disrupts the ripening process. Another reason not to keep them in the fridge, as they will lose their flavour. They will keep for about 1 week.

    How do I know if snack tomatoes are no longer good? The tomatoes are mouldy, have a sour smell or are limp. You can quickly recognise this decay by looking, smelling or tasting.

    Prepare
    Snack tomatoes can be eaten whole. But you can also cut them in half or in quarters for a salad. Or in slices for on your sandwich.

    Cool place: 1 week

    Preparation times

    Not applicable, you usually eat them raw.

    If you still want to prepare them, you can use these times.
    Cooking: 10 - 15 minutes
    Stir-frying: 2 - 4 minutes
    Microwave oven: 4 - 8 minutes
    Grilling: 3 - 5 minutes
    Braising: 15 - 20 minutes
