The flavour of the white coral mushroom is slightly nutty to neutral. The white coral mushroom occurs singly, but is more often seen in groups. The white coral mushroom is found on humus-rich soil in coniferous forests, deciduous forests and shrublands.

Store
Use white coral mushroom as fresh as possible. Store spring pronghorn mushrooms in the fridge at a temperature of between 4° and 7°C. They can then be kept for 2 to 3 days.

Cleaning the white coral mushroom
Clean dry with a kitchen paper or mushroom brush. Do not wash, or they will fill up with water, losing flavour.
