Fruit marquee treat

100gr fruit p.p.
Ingredients
8 persons
1 container of seedless grapes (500 grams) |
5 tangerines |
8 paper cups |
8 paper mini party hats (⌀ 7-8 cm) |
8 paper straws |
scissors/adhesive tape/stick |
Preparation
Welcome to the (fruit) marquee! With this marquee treat, you can make fruit very appealing. Moreover, the children immediately have a nice gadget: the party hat.
- Clean the fruit: wash the grapes and pick from the bunch, peel the tangerines.
- Fill the cups with fruit.
- Draw a smiley face on the party hats. How about a smiley or winking smiley? Tip: use your phone (e.g. whats app) for inspiration or when re-drawing.
- Make the tent with tripod: cut a straw in three, glue the straws evenly to the bottom of the party hat. Slide the tent into the filled cup. Repeat for each party tent, the ingredients listed opposite are enough for 8 treats.
Tips:
- You can briefly tape the party hat's rubber band to the inside.
- Candy tomatoes are also welcome in the marquee J, for example replace half the grapes with candy tomatoes.
Marquee, circus tent or princess?
- Stick a flagpole in the tip of the marquee, that way you can turn the marquee into a circus tent in no time. Instead of a smiley face, you can also draw a circus animal on it, such as a horse.
- Take a (gold or brown) gift ribbon and curl it with scissors, secure with tape at the tip of the party hat. This is how you transform the marquee into a princess in no time (see photo).
