Grilled watermelon

170gr fruit p.p.

Ingredients

667 grams watermelon (seedless)
13 millilitres fresh lime juice
3 grams lime zest
20 grams honey

Preparation

  1. Preheat the grill to high temperature. Mix the fresh lime juice, lime zest and honey in a bowl.
  2. Cut the head off the watermelon and cut it into two halves. Then cut the halves into triangles (the skin is still on).
  3. Brush each slice with the fresh lime juice and place on the grill. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until grill marks appear and the watermelon is slightly softer. Serve immediately.
