Sauerkraut with white beans

320gr vegetables p.p.
Ingredients
2 persons
4 pieces of juniper berries |
1 small green pepper |
1 onion |
1 piece of bay leaf |
1 tablespoon of liquid margarine |
1 tin of white beans (drained weight about 500 grams) |
400 grams of sauerkraut |
Preparation
1. Clean the onion and pepper. Slice the onion into shreds and the pepper into cubes.
2. Fry the onion in the margarine until glazy.
3. Braise the pepper for a few minutes.
4. Add the sauerkraut with the bay leaf, juniper berries and 50 ml of water and braise for 10 minutes.
5. Drain the white beans in a sieve and rinse them.
6. Heat the white beans with the sauerkraut.
7. Remove the bay leaf and juniper berries and season the dish with pepper.
