Preparation & storage
Storage
Store the honey pomelo outside the fridge, preferably in a well-ventilated place. Just on the fruit bowl is fine. A honey pomelo will keep for weeks.
Once you have cut the fruit, cover it with cling film and store the cut fruit in the fridge.
Preparing
Peel the fruit. Remove the white skin as much as possible.
The skin of the honey pomelo is edible, but a bit tough and bitter. Do you prefer the flesh without the skin? Cut out the flesh between the membranes with a sharp knife.
Storage times
Fruit bowl: 2-3 weeks
Refrigerator (leftover pomelo): 3-5 days
