


Pink oyster mushroom



The pink oyster mushroom has a short stalk. The colour of the cap and stalk is beautiful pink in various shades. The cap of the pink oyster mushroom stays about 5 cm, unlike the grey oyster mushroom. The pink oyster mushroom also has a meaty taste and texture.

Storage
Ideally, use pink oyster mushroom as fresh as possible. Store pink oyster mushrooms in the fridge at a temperature of between 4° and 7°C. They can then be kept for up to 3 days.

Cut a piece from the bottom of the stalk, then slice or quarter.

Stir-frying: 2-4 minutes
Microwave oven: 2-3 minutes
Deep-frying: 2-4 minutes

Cleaning pink oyster mushrooms
Clean dry with a kitchen paper or mushroom brush. Do not wash, or they will fill up with water, losing their flavour.
