


Plum cherry tomatoes



Plum cherry tomatoes get their name from their somewhat pointed shape. They have firm flesh and a sweet, full flavour. They are small, but delicate. A healthy snack and convenient snack! Like the normal tomato, the cherry tomato contains lycopene. Lycopene acts as an antioxidant and may protect against prostate cancer.

Preparation & storage
Plum cherry tomatoes actually hardly need any preparation. Just eat them out of hand or cut them in half. Just wash them and remove the crown. You can pick it off easily.

Not applicable, you usually eat them raw.
If you still want to prepare them, you can use these times.
- Cooking: approx. 10 minutes
- Stir-frying: 2 - 4 minutes
- Microwave oven: 4 - 8 minutes
- Grilling: 3 - 5 minutes
- Braising: 15 - 20 minutes
