Brussels sprouts mash with nuts

Ingredients
2 persons
600g potatoes |
400g brussels sprouts |
5 cherry tomatoes |
50g walnuts or pecans |
100ml semi-skimmed milk |
pepper |
nutmeg |
Preparation
Winter stew with Brussels sprouts and nuts.
- Peel the potatoes.
- Clean and halve the sprouts.
- Boil the potatoes in a little water for 15 minutes. Then add the sprouts and cook together for another 5 minutes.
- Wash the tomatoes and halve them.
- Coarsely chop the nuts
- Drain the cooked potatoes and sprouts and mash them.
- Bring the milk to the boil and cream the potatoes and sprouts with it.
- Add half the tomatoes and season the mash with some pepper and nutmeg.
- Mix the nuts into the stew.
