Cabbage turnip mash with raw endive

355gr vegetables p.p.
Ingredients
2 persons
350 g diced turnip |
200 g sliced endive |
approx. 100 g mushrooms |
1 small onion |
pepper |
nutmeg |
approx. 1/2 dl semi-skimmed milk |
10 g liquid margarine |
600 g potatoes |
150 g chicken breast |
Preparation
1. Peel and slice the potatoes.
2. Cook the potatoes together with the turnip cubes in little water for about 20 minutes.
3. Peel and chop the onion.
4. Wipe the mushrooms clean with a kitchen paper or mushroom brush. Slice the mushrooms.
5. Cut the chicken into cubes and fry them brown all around in margarine in a frying pan.
6. Fry the onion and mushrooms with the chicken for about 5 minutes.
Drain the potatoes and turnip and mash them. Stir in the milk until a smooth stew forms. Spoon the endive and chicken mixture through the mash and season with freshly ground pepper and nutmeg. Enjoy!
