Mash with celeriac and carrot

345gr vegetables p.p.
Ingredients
2 persons
1 celeriac (approx. 270g) |
300g carrots |
2 eggs |
packet of chives |
packet of parsley |
500g crumbly potato |
pepper |
1 onion |
1 tablespoon of liquid margarine |
dash of semi-skimmed milk |
200g ham steak |
Preparation
1. Clean and chop the vegetables and potatoes.
Boil the eggs hard.
Boil the potatoes for 20 minutes and the celeriac and carrots for 15 minutes. Add the onion to the pan after 5 minutes.
4. Fry the ham steak for 12-14 minutes in a little margarine. Remove from the pan, let rest for a few minutes in aluminium foil and cut into cubes.
5. Drain everything and put the celeriac, carrots, onion and potato in 1 large pan. Mash the whole thing. Finely chop the chives and parsley. Add this to the mash and stir and through with the ham and a dash of milk. Add fresh ground to taste. Garnish with the egg and some herbs. Enjoy your meal!
