Cauliflower dish

Ingredients
2 persons
600 grams of potatoes |
1 small cauliflower |
piece of leek |
150 grams of mushrooms |
150 grams of minced beef |
1 tablespoon of liquid margarine |
1 tablespoon of tomato puree |
paprika |
± 150 ml of semi-skimmed milk |
nutmeg |
Preparation
- Peel the potatoes and boil them in little water for about 20 minutes until tender.
- Clean and cut the cauliflower into florets.
- Clean the leeks and cut them into narrow rings.
- Clean and slice the mushrooms.
- Cook the cauliflower in a little water for approx. 8 minutes until just tender.
- Fry the minced meat in margarine in a frying pan until tender and loose.
- Fry the leek rings and mushrooms for a few minutes. Add the tomato puree and 100 ml of water and heat well.
- Flavour the mixture with pepper and paprika.
- Bring the milk to the boil.
- Make a creamy puree of the potatoes with hot milk. Flavour the mashed potatoes with pepper and nutmeg.
- Spoon half of the mashed potatoes into an ovenproof dish and divide the mince mixture on top.
- Spoon the cauliflower on top and cover with the rest of the puree.
- Let the dish turn golden under a hot grill or in a preheated hot oven (200 °C).
