Chili con carne

270gr vegetables p.p.
Ingredients
2 persons
1 onion |
2 red peppers |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1 clove garlic |
1 teaspoon cumin |
1 teaspoon paprika |
½ teaspoon specula spice |
100g minced beef |
1 can kidney beans (drained weight approx. 400g) |
½ can of diced tomatoes without salt |

Preparation
This most delicious chilli con carne is very easy to make yourself without any packets or sachets.
- Peel and chop the onion.
- Clean and dice the peppers.
- Fry the onion in olive oil in a large pan. Squeeze the clove of garlic on top.
- Add the cumin, paprika and spices and fry briefly.
- Then add the minced meat and fry until loose.
- Add the diced peppers and fry briefly.
- Drain the kidney beans, rinse them and add them to the pan along with the diced tomatoes. Simmer on a low heat for about 15 minutes.
- Season to taste with chilli powder.
Any ingredients left over?
Store onions outside the fridge in a dark, dry place. Onions absorb moisture quickly and then they rot.
Put the rest of the diced tomatoes in a bowl or fridge box. Store them covered in the fridge for up to 2 days. Use the rest of the diced tomatoes in this leek curry.
