Preparation
Make your own fish cakes! A lot tastier, tastier and not at all difficult.
- Peel the potatoes. Boil the potatoes in a little water for about 20 minutes.
- Clean the onion. Chop a piece of onion very finely and the rest in shreds.
- Wash the parsley and chop it small.
- Drain the tuna.
- Mix the tuna with the finely chopped onion and 1 small cooked potato and season with the lemon zest, finely chopped parsley and some pepper. If necessary, add some milk to make it a cohesive mixture.
- Crush the rusks.
- Shape the fish mixture into 4 flat discs and roll them in the rusk crumbs.
- Clean the French beans. Cook the green beans in a little water for about 10 minutes.
- Fry the fishcakes in the hot margarine for 10 minutes until hot and lightly browned.
- Clean and slice the mushrooms. During the last few minutes, fry the rest of the onion and mushrooms along with the fishcakes.
- Bring the rest of the milk to the boil.
- Mash the rest of the potatoes and make a puree with the hot milk, pepper and nutmeg.
- Serve the fishcakes with the green beans and mashed potatoes.
