Spicy carrots

250gr vegetables p.p.
Ingredients
2 persons
1 clove garlic |
½ teaspoon paprika |
1 tablespoon tomato puree |
1 tablespoon oil |
1 teaspoon cumin seeds |
1 onion |
400g winter carrot |
Preparation
1. Clean the vegetables.
2. Shred the onion and garlic.
3. Cut the carrots into slices.
4. Heat the oil and fry the cumin seeds in it until fragrant.
5. Fry the onion and garlic for a few minutes.
6. Briefly fry the tomato puree and paprika powder.
7. Add the carrot slices with 1 dl water and stew the vegetables for 8-10 minutes.
Serving suggestion: Delicious with roasted hazelnuts and mashed potatoes.
