Spicy pumpkin stew

350gr vegetables p.p.
Ingredients
2 persons
1 tablespoon liquid margarine |
1 onion |
1 teaspoon coriander seeds |
1 teaspoon cumin seeds |
600 grams of pumpkin |
1 bay leaf |
1 red pepper |
200 grams of beef steak |
1 tablespoon garam masala |
Preparation
1. Toast the cumin seeds and coriander seeds in a dry frying pan until fragrant.
2. Clean and chop the onion small.
3. Cut the meat into strips.
4. Brown the meat in the hot margarine on all sides.
5. Briefly fry the onion, roasted spices, garam masala and bay leaf.
6. Pour in 200 ml of boiling water and simmer the meat gently for 1 hour.
7. Clean the pumpkin. Cut the flesh into cubes.
8. Clean the pepper, remove the stalk and seeds. Cut the pepper into rings.
9. Add the pumpkin and pepper to the meat and simmer for 20 minutes.
Serving suggestion: Delicious with brown rice.
