String beans à la béarnaise

Ingredients

2 persons

400g string beans
2 slices of bacon
2 tomatoes
savory

Preparation

1. Clean and cut the string beans into narrow strips.
2. Cook the string beans in little water just until tender.
3. Cut the bacon into strips and fry in a dry frying pan until brown.
4. Wash the tomatoes and cut into wedges.
5. Braise the tomato slices with the bacon for a few minutes.
6. Drain the string beans and add the tomatoes with bacon, pepper and some savory.

Menu suggestion: Delicious with a tartare and potatoes.
