Truck treat of fruit and vegetables

Ingredients

2 large/thick winter carrots (approx. 600g) |
32 blueberries (over 50g) |
8 flagpoles |
16 cocktail sticks |
granola bar (approx. 80g) |
3 wholemeal breadsticks |
Preparation
Out of the way, Vik Truck is coming. He is on his way to the party. Where can he go?
- Clean the winter carrot: scrape it, cut off the butt and wash it. Cut the winter carrot in half and then in half lengthwise so that you have four halves. Repeat with the other winter carrot.
- Wheels: break 2 cocktail sticks in half. Stick the blunt end 4x at the bottom of the carrot at the level of the wheels. Prick 4 blueberries on them.
- Cab: cut a piece of the granola bar (10 g) and secure with a flagpole.
- Cargo: break 1/3 soup stick into pieces and place on the truck.
- Repeat steps 2 to 4 for each truck. The ingredients on the right are enough for 8 treats.
Tips:
- You can write the birthday boy or girl's name and age on the flag, making it even more fun and personal.
- Nut allergy? Replace the muesli bar with a piece of watermelon (approx. 20 g), see photo.
- You can also replace the blueberries by soaked plums
