White cabbage salad with orange

225gr vegetables p.p. & 130gr fruit p.p.
Ingredients
2 persons
400 g sliced white cabbage |
2 - 3 teaspoons curry powder |
2 oranges |
pepper |
2 teaspoons ginger powder |
1 dl orange-flavoured spring water |
1 tablespoon liquid margarine |
1/2 small onion |
Preparation
1. Peel and chop the onion.
2. Heat the margarine in a pan and briefly fry the onion. Add the cabbage. Add the ginger powder and curry powder to the pan as well. Stir well. Add the orange-flavoured spring water and simmer the cabbage with the lid on for about 10-15 minutes.
3. Meanwhile, cut the orange thickly like an apple with a sharp knife. Cut out the flesh between the membranes. Spoon the orange slices through the cabbage about 3 minutes before the end of the braising time.
4. Add freshly ground pepper to taste. Enjoy!
