Apricot

We know apricots fresh, as well as dried, canned or bottled. An apricot has a soft edible skin. Inside is a large stony stone-like stone that easily releases when ripe. The flesh is orange-yellow and smells delicious. Apricots are native to Greece and France, among other countries. The fruit contains a number of important minerals, such as potassium.

Apricots will keep for 1 to 3 days in a cool place. You can keep them in the fridge for about 5 days, but they will lose some flavour and fragrance.
Preparation
The skin of an apricot is edible. If you prefer to remove the skin, you can easily pull it off with a sharp knife.
Halve the fruit by cutting it around the stone and then twisting it off the stone. After that, you can cut fruit halves into wedges or pieces.
