Peach

The peach is a drupe, like a plum. The flesh is sweet and juicy. The soft, caressable skin is edible. The peach and nectarine are closely related. Because a nectarine does not have a fluffy skin, it is slightly more popular. Different varieties of peaches have different colours of flesh, such as white, yellow and red.

Preparation & storage
Wash the peach. The skin of a peach is edible. If you prefer to remove the skin, you can easily pull it off with a sharp knife.
You can halve the fruit by slicing it all around and twisting off the halves of the stone with your full hand. Then you can cut fruit halves into wedges or pieces.
