Broccoli with spicy orange sauce

Broccoli with spicy orange sauce
With seasonal products

250gr vegetables p.p.

Ingredients

2 persons

2 press oranges
½ clove garlic
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon mustard
500g broccoli
¼ red pepper

Preparation

1. Scrub an orange thoroughly and grate the outer peel.
2. Squeeze the oranges.
3. Clean the broccoli. Divide the vegetable into florets, peel the stems and cut into pieces.
4. Cook the broccoli in a little water for about 5 minutes.
5. Finely chop the piece of pepper and the garlic.
6. Bring the orange juice with the pepper, garlic, grated orange zest and mustard to the boil.
7. Stir the cornstarch with a spoonful of water until smooth and stir into the orange juice.
8. Cook the sauce for one minute while stirring.
9. Drain the broccoli and spoon in the sauce.

Menu suggestion: Delicious with an omelette and potatoes.
