Carrot cake balls

Ingredients
6 persons
1 small carrot (40 grams) |
20 grams oatmeal |
25 grams walnuts |
20 grams dates |
½ teaspoon speculaaskruiden |
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds |
Preparation
A delicious and responsible snack that tastes a damn sight like carrot cake, ideal right? And these carrot cake balls are also super easy to make.
- Wash the carrot and grate it finely.
- Put the carrot, the oatmeal, the walnuts, the dates and the speculaaskruiden in the food processor and mix into a coarse mixture. Kneading by hand is also possible.
- Roll small balls of the mixture.
- Spread a tablespoon of toasted sesame seeds on a plate and roll the balls through them.
Tip:
Use the oatmeal, walnuts and dates you have left over to make delicious crunchy granola.
